Beloved, welcome to this week; the week God has said in His word that “YOU WILL SEE…” Malachi 1:5
You will see it with your own eyes and say, ‘Great is the Lord—even beyond the borders of Israel!’ My prayer is that you will see His wonders and share the new testimony soon.
As we have discussed for two weeks now on the above topic, we shall conclude today by looking at OVERCOMING THIS CHALLENGE OR THESE CHALLENGES
I wish to emphasize here that the first thing you need to do is to decide. Make a decision to follow him no matter what happens. The road you are treading on now is full of troubles, pain, persecution and many gains. Remember, Luke 9: 62 says, Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”
Also, the book of Revelations 12:11 says: They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
Your decision to go ahead is key on this journey of life.
Secondly, you need daily fellowship with Him. Every car needs continuous fill of gas to keep running. If it should run out of gas, then, flow stops and no matter how strong, beautiful, seasoned and good the car is, It remains at a point and if nothing is done for a long time, it loses its beauty. If you must grow, then you need to stay connected to the source of life (God). Remember, He called us to be with Him. Mark 3:14, He appointed twelve that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach. Remain in fellowship with Him
The third thing you need to do is change your friends and the place you go. Begin a new face by fellowshipping with believers. Attend Bible study, Prayer meetings and any programme that is God focused. Make new friends with people that will help you serve God the more not those that will take you away from God. Of cause, you will eventually come with the gospel to them but first sort out yourself and be sure you are standing right. Listen to what the scriptures say in Hebrews 10: 24-25, And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
And finally, study to know God by and for yourself. Teachings about God that you listen to are good, Sermons are perfect but the one that will carry you beyond all of these is knowing God and walking with him as your father. You don’t know God according to what your pastor says but according to what His word says.
2 Timothy 14 -15 says keep reminding God’s people of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.“
I WISH TO ENCOURAGE YOU TO ALWAYS PRAY AND TRUST GOD TO HELP YOU DAILY TO LIVE ARIGHT
GOD BLESS YOU AND NEVER FORGET THAT YOU ARE GOD’S CHOICE
