To be chosen means to be selected from the crowd.
Most times, it’s difficult to determine the rationale for the choice. For example, God picked David to be king over Israel (1 Samuel 16: 6-8). Why him? What was the reason for David’s preference, and not someone else?
Another example: God chose Abraham- why Him? – out of his father’s house to be the father of Faith (Genesis 12:1). What qualification, exactly, did he have to be given this preference?
Men use qualification to choose who will do what. But with God, it is by mercy.
You are God’s choice. There’s no rationale for it. But then, He came to die for you. He took your place on that cross. So that you can live.
Today is your decision day. You may have jettisoned this invite for a long time, giving excuses.
Decide for Him today. Accept him as your Lord and Savior.
Invite him into your life; confess your sins and declare for him.
Next week, by God’s grace, I will discuss with you next steps as you make your decision to live in him and grow in Him. Until then, remember this:
YOU ARE GOD’S CHOICE
